Dr Laura Edwards welcomes referrals from GPs, specialists and other healthcare professionals for private obstetric and gynaecological care.

Dr Edwards values collaborative, timely communication with referring practitioners and is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s individual circumstances.

Referrals

Referrals are welcome for a broad range of obstetric and gynaecological presentations, including:

  • Pre-pregnancy counselling and pregnancy planning

  • Antenatal and private obstetric care

  • Early pregnancy concerns

  • Contraception and family planning

  • Menstrual concerns, including heavy or irregular bleeding

  • Pelvic pain and endometriosis

  • Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)

  • Ovarian and adnexal conditions

  • Cervical screening abnormalities

  • Vulval and vaginal concerns

  • Menopause and perimenopause

  • General gynaecological assessment and management

  • Gynaecological surgery

How to Refer

Referrals can be submitted in whichever way is most convenient for you.

Email a referral
Referrals can be emailed directly to admin@redefinewh.com.au. Please include relevant clinical history, investigation results, imaging and current medications where available.

Submit an online referral
Alternatively, complete the online referral form below and attach the referral and any relevant supporting documentation.

Urgent Referrals

If you would like to discuss an urgent referral, or have concerns regarding the appropriate timing of review, please contact the practice directly on
(07) 5690 2777.

Dr Edwards is also happy to discuss patients with referring practitioners where clinical advice or clarification regarding a referral is required.
